What is loan modification and how much does it cost compared to a refinance?

Not in foreclosure; just have a high-interest rate ARM and too high of a DTI.

How can I get a loan to pay off my bills while in college?

I am paying my way through college and working part time, but the bills are getting too expensive. I heard there are websites that bid on personal financing loans. How can I get a loan through one of these places or get a loan through other companies?
